Syracuse, NY – Local breast cancer support group Shades of Inspiration, Inc. is proud to gratefully announce the receipt of a grant from the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation. The grant allows the all-volunteer group to support women diagnosed with breast cancer, with:
- Care packages designed by breast cancer survivors
- Meals and shopping
- Assistance with house cleaning
- Rides to and/or support during medical care appointments and mammograms
- Emotional and psychosocial support
New York State Department Health Grant
Awarded to Shades of Inspiration on September 1, 2024
Shades of Inspiration, lnc. has received a grant from the New York Department of Health. The grant will assist the organization in connecting with community organizations for collaborative events to engage their community in wellness activities and serve as credible messengers of COVID-19 public health information.
