Who We Are...
We provide individual, family and group support. We can attend physician appointments, run errands, and provide social, emotional, and psychological support. We are here to listen; encourage and help you navigate the medical process. Shades of Inspiration, Inc., seeks to educate women about various stages of breast cancer. We believe in coming together in fellowship to share personal stories, laugh, explore, and be available to help each other in our journeys to overcome this disease. Since Shades of Inspiration inception in 2012 the group has obtained their status as a 501c3 and became incorporated.

Lady in Pink Bags
One of the unique and thoughtful touches we provide is the "Lady in Pink Bags." These specially curated bags are filled with items that help provide comfort and convenience. Inside, you'll find a range of essentials including Bibles, journals, hand sanitizer, lotion, tissues, socks, and neck pillows – everything to make you feel at ease. This meaningful gesture is just one of the ways we try to make a positive impact.

As a breast cancer overcomer, I have a passion for helping others who are going through the big 'C' word. I believe that through support, we will overcome.

As a Breast Cancer Survivor I strongly believe in having your Mammograms regularly. My story is not like most. I believe it is my duty as a Survivor to tell my story and to be available to help and support others

As an overcomer, my Faith in God brought me through. As a member, Shades of Inspiration has enabled me to find so many wonderful friends (my sisters). We have shared so many heart warming stories, love, and joy. I am so Blessed.

I have not been diagnosed with breast cancer, but I had a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer and I did not understand at the time the emotional and physical effects on a person with breast cancer. I witnessed my friends fight and also her strength. She lost her battle and in which affected my heart in a way I could not have ever imagined. I wish my friend was able to have received the support services provided by these extraordinary ladies. This group is an inspiration for me and others. '...Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.

My background is marked by a steadfast dedication to assisting others in times of hardship, preferring discreet involvement. Post-breast cancer, I am now prepared for greater visibility. Joining Shades of Inspiration Inc. was a prime opportunity. I am resolved to provide support to individuals facing cancer, and their loved ones.
